how much does it cost to design your own ring?
My engagement ring is lovely. I really don’t want a band that has diamonds in it. But I need to have it custom done, because the way the engagement ring is. It has to be 14K white gold like my engagement is. How much does it cost to design your ring, generally?
I have diamonds on both sides that go almost down to my finger and I’m afraid of getting a band that covers it up. I love my ring, but I feel like I need a really tiny band. I’ve found bands a like, but their always too thick.
Depends on how fancy/unusual the design of the ring will be. I’d go talk to a local jeweler about how to go about getting a ring designed that will compliment your engagement ring. It usually doesn’t cost anything to have it designed, but the price of having one custom made might be a little higher than if you just bought one. Shop around first too, find a style that you do like in general and tell the jeweler, hey I really like this style of ring, but it needs to be custom made to fit my engagement ring, and I’d like to keep the cost under this many dollars.” A good jeweler should be able to help you.
